We love our Meet the Team series so we can give you an opportunity to meet the people behind our work. Each member is vital to our growth, as teamwork is ingrained in everything we do. We are so excited to add another person to the family and we’re sure that once you get to know our team members, you’ll love them just as much as we do!

Recently we had the opportunity to catch up with our sales development representative, Nate Sobiech. As part of the Twenty Over Ten team, Nate connects with financial professionals across the country to discuss their marketing challenges and goals.

With nearly a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Nate works with advisors on a daily basis to address their main concerns – how they, as a business owner, can provide services and simultaneously market themselves as qualified professionals, while standing out amongst their peers. Working with our clients, Nate establishes goals and expectations, he helps assemble a package of services to meet each advisor’s individual marketing needs.

Where do you call home?

I live in central Massachusetts in the town of Oxford. I grew up a couple of towns over and have always lived in this area. However, last year I did get to call Lihue, Hawaii home for a year. My wife was offered a temporary work contract so my family and I seized the opportunity and made some great memories.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Alaska. I love the outdoors and Alaska to me has always been an outdoorsman’s mecca. There have been a lot of TV shows recently depicting life in Alaska that have really increased my desire to go.

What was your childhood dream job?

As a kid, I grew up on a lake and fished almost every day during summer vacations. I always dreamt of being a professional bass fisherman and having my own TV show like Bill Dance or Hank Parker. I would even do commentary while I fished as if I had cameras on me. Looking back, my neighbors probably thought I was nuts.

What is your favorite part about working at Twenty Over Ten?

Our team at Twenty Over Ten is the best. I get to work with extremely intelligent, talented, and innovative people. Everyone is very supportive and always willing to help. Combine that with selling a service you truly feel is the best in it’s industry, and the whole thing becomes my favorite.

How do you start and end your work day?

My day starts by getting my two beautiful daughters ready and driven to daycare every morning. Once that tornado of events is completed, I need a cup of coffee as I map out the day and dive right in. I end my day by making sure I’ve completed all of the day’s tasks and begin to prepare for the following day.

Outside of work, what hobbies do you most enjoy?

I love to hunt, fish, and do just about anything that involves the outdoors. I also own a lifestyle brand for hunters called Backyard Buck. You can check it out at www.backyardbuck.com

What does your perfect day look like?

Life is short and to me, making as many memories as you can with friends and family is what it’s all about. My perfect day includes sunshine, family and friends, BBQ, cornhole or horseshoes, a bonfire and beers and everyone having a great time enjoying each other’s company.

Who has been your role model in life?

Definitely my parents. Both of my parents immigrated to the U.S. when they were children. Both dealt with their own hardships of coming to a new country and trying to fit in and make it. They worked hard, as my grandparents did before them, to earn the life they now enjoy. As a parent now myself, I appreciate even more the sacrifices they made to provide me the opportunities to have a better life than they did growing up.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

If I haven’t won the Powerball or Mega Millions by then, I see myself continuing to work within the financial services industry – hopefully still with Twenty Over Ten doing a five year follow up of “Meet the Team.
