This week, I got the opportunity to talk to Michael Biggers, one of our newest design team members. As a designer and developer, he works directly with our clients to create unique and attractive websites. He aims to help financial advisors and broker dealers give their users a smooth and enjoyable experience. Read on to learn more about Michael:
Where do you call home?
I was born and raised in Ocala, FL.
What do you love most about working with Twenty Over Ten?
We really have the best team. Everyone is passionate about what they do and supportive of everyone else. On top of that, we get to work with clients who are truly excited about their business and creating an amazing website. That combo makes every day awesome.
What is your favorite part of the work day?
I think my favorite part of the work day is when I’m working on an interesting problem, I’ve got some good music on, and time just kind of goes away; like when you look up and three hours have passed and it feels like just a few minutes.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Music has always been a big part of my life. I started playing guitar when I was 12(-ish), and it quickly became the thing that I spent all my free time on. Lately, anything involving a camera is super interesting to me – photography or video.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be (and why)?
Hmm, I think it would be someplace with mountains and a little bit of snow (two things we’re a little short on in Florida). I love hiking in the mountains, and colder weather just puts me in a great mood!
Who is your biggest role model?
Growing up, my two biggest role models were Michael Jordan and Jackie Chan. It’s pretty hard to top those two, but Chris Coyier is one of my biggest professional role models. He’s created some of my favorite things on the web, like CodePen and CSS-Tricks, and hearing him speak on building those things is really fantastic.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I’d like to live in that place with mountains and a little bit of snow, working on awesome projects with awesome people.
