2020 is off to a great start so far, but we wanted to take a look back on what we accomplished last year. In addition to working closely with independent RIAs across the U.S. and Canada we are also fortunate to have partnerships with many broker-dealers and today we’re excited to highlight a few of our favorite websites from advisors affiliated with Manulife Securities, a division of Manulife Canada.
We’re excited to share some of their websites with you today!
1. Simplify Wealth
What’s not to love about Simplify Wealth’s homepage? With a beautiful hero image and colors that pop, you immediately feel a sense of energy that will come from working with this advisory firm. The call-to-action (CTA) stands out nicely against the vibrant colors, encouraging visitors to “Start the Conversation.”
Just below the hero image, visitors are urged to sign up for their newsletter by simply providing a name and email address. This not only allows for the firm to capture more leads but provides prospects with something beneficial.
Providing content to clients is so important, and when it’s via podcast or video, that’s even better, as it offers something unique. Simplify Wealth offers a variety of videos housed in its Resources section to further educate clients and prospects on financial planning matters.
2. Bell Financial
Built on Twenty Over Ten, Bell Financial’s new website is beautiful and serene. Located in Aurora Ontario, the Bell Financial team lives and breathes the mantra: “having enough money to live isn’t good enough” and their new website emulates that sentiment exactly.
In today’s technology-driven environment, being able to quickly and easily communicate with someone is key, which is why we’re so glad that Bell Financial is taking advantage of our one-click Calendly integration. Our recent research shows that advisors who incorporate a calendar link on their website just like Bell Financial has can generate 6-10 or 11+ more clients per year. Now, with the single click of a button, visitors can quickly schedule a 15-minute introductory call with the Bell Financial team.
Email marketing can be a great way to drip on prospects in your pipeline and connect with leads. In fact, 59% of B2B marketers say email is their most successful channel in terms of revenue generation. So we love that Bell Financial decided to incorporate newsletters as a part of their marketing strategy. They’ve even added their quarterly newsletters to their website as an archive of sorts so those who aren’t currently subscribed can still reference the great content they’re sharing. From making it easy for prospects to get in touch to providing a wealth of resources, Bell Financial has developed a strong advisor website.
3. Eden Valley Partners
The rotating hero images on the homepage of Eden Valley Partners are serene yet dynamic, and we love how they make a bold first impression for visitors this way.
When first working with a financial advisor, many people might not know what to expect or the terms and language thrown around may seem so foreign to them their head spins. So we love how Eden Valley has distilled their client experience down into four easy to understand steps with everything spelled out, so clients know exactly what to expect when working with the Eden Valley team.
4. Guided Wealth Management
As we have mentioned time and time again, CTA’s are so important, and Guided Wealth Management has plenty of them! Visitors are welcomed to “Get Started Today” immediately when landing on their website or to get in touch.
While first-time visitor leads may not be quite ready to get started right away, they can easily contact someone at Guided Wealth with questions, so adding two CTA’s as such can be a great idea to provide people who may be in different lifecycle stages to move forward at their own pace.
Content is everything, and it’s so great to see the Guided Wealth Management team gets this too by integrating various forms of content into their website. 54% of consumers want to see more video from a brand or business that they support, so this introduction video by Founder and CEO, Michael Sanson is a great addition to their homepage.
5. Moulatlet Financial
One word comes to mind when you land on Moulatlet Financial’s website: Vibrant. Led by CFP®, Paulo Moulatlet, Moulatlet offers a wide variety of services from insurance to investments and more. Despite offering their clients a plethora of options they’ve organized their website navigation succinctly enabling visitors to quickly find the information they’re seeking.
6. Wyngaert Wealth Essentials
We’ve gotten to the last one, and we love this site for so many reasons! It’s unique due to the fact that it’s bilingual to serve those better that speak French as their second language in Canada. This is clearly highlighted in the top right corner with an easy toggle between languages – which is perfect for the bilingual clients in Quebec.
Their landing page also has a lead capture right up above the fold under the main call to action, and hero image – making it really easy to grab leads quickly as they land on the page – or the highlighting of the most recent blog posts that automatically update to the newest featured articles.
7. Tim Hazlett Financial
It’s not just the cute puffins that drew us to Tim Hazlett’s new website but who doesn’t love puffins, right? Tim’s bold, actionable CTA (call-to-action) stands out among the puffins with contrasting colors placed right above the fold on the homepage.
We also love that they include one of the six key aspects to make a great impression on their homepage by tailoring their above the fold homepage content to their specific niche of Newfoundland government workers and business owners. When a potential client lands on your homepage, they want to immediately know that they are on a website that uniquely specializes in helping them.
And for maximum social engagement, Tim Hazlett has included icons to all three of his social media profiles – Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn – in the header and footer of his website. Adding social buttons in the right places like this, you can bet that your social following is going to rise.
Seeing as how advisors who update their websites 2X or more per month see 6-10 or 11+ clients per year we love that Tim’s new website includes an incredibly robust Insights page where he’s sharing insightful resources on a regular cadence of about once per week.
Additionally, Tim is implementing all the right tips and tricks when posting content by including CTA’s, images, video, header tags and even lead capture forms.
That’s a Wrap!
We’ve really enjoyed working with all of these Manulife advisors and we hope you’ve enjoyed checking out their new websites! First impressions are everything when it comes to your online presence. In fact, first impressions are 94% design-related. For financial advisors especially, your website has a huge impact on the perceived credibility and quality of your business. If you’re interested in updating your current website in 2020 we would love to speak with you!
