As we close out 2019 we cannot help but be incredibly thankful for the community of advisors that we get to work with every day. We’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with so many financial advisors this year to develop their websites and the outcomes speak for themselves!
Instead of simply highlighting websites that have been launched in the past year that we think are exemplary, we wanted to also break down the list by group. So if you are looking for examples of well-designed websites from your peers at a particular Broker-Dealer or RIA, you can find them in our Round-ups!
Today we’re excited to highlight a few of our favorite websites from Advisor Group, a network of independent wealth management firms in the U.S. Currently, there are four individual firms that makeup Advisor Group including FSC Securities Corporation, Royal Alliance Associates, SagePoint Financial, and Woodbury Financial Services and we’re excited to share some of their websites with you today!
1. High Point Capital Group
The first thing that catches our eye on High Point Capital Group’s website is the breathtaking hero image on their homepage, which evokes a feeling of inspiration for their site visitors. Call-out boxes are not only a unique design element but a wise technique to draw attention to their firm’s goal and USP.
High Point Capital Group’s call to action sits boldly in the top right corner encouraging prospects to schedule a meeting with their team. This site is also choc-full of content, which we love! From blogs and resources to video content, High Point Capital Group has it all.
According to HubSpot, 54% of consumers want to see more video content from brands and businesses. With that being said, High Point Capital Group is on the right track by incorporating a Vlog section on their new website, which offers visitors more financial content and assistance. And we would be remiss if we didn’t mention their podcast!
2. Reynolds Financial Advisors
As web designers, we have seen a growing trend in replacing big hero images with hero videos at the top of websites. And to be honest, we’ve seen some really good ones and some not so great ones. Reynolds Financial Advisors has nailed theirs, with beautiful footage of lush greenery. However, what’s really key about how they’ve incorporated video is the supporting copy over their hero video that not only supports the footage but also shares the firm’s unique selling proposition (USP).
Built on perhaps one of our most popular frameworks, Reynolds Financial Advisors chose to leverage a one-page scrolling experience to deliver their visitors a unique experience. We love their community page, which really humanizes their brand and team and shows that they care about their surrounding community.
3. Eastern Planning Inc.
By now you’ve likely realized that financial advisor websites have a lot of roles to fill. They need to provide information and access points to current clients and in many cases, they are a gateway for prospective clients to learn more and move further down the sales funnel.
Eastern Planning Inc. with offices in Nanuet, NY and Rye Brook, NY is a great example of a site that fills both of these roles. From e-seminars to in-person events, blog posts and downloadable guides there is no shortage of content for prospects and clients alike.
We especially love how Eastern Planning Inc. decided to devote a page to each niche they serve — gen x/young adults, sandwich generation, aging adults and special needs. Not only is the content on each page tailored specifically to that audience to address their unique pain points but they also offer downloadable worksheets, caregiving packages and more that not only positions them as a thought leader but captures critical lead information through our integration with Constant Contact forms.
4. Financial Pointe
Who’s ready to head to the beach for some rest and relaxation? We are! Especially after visiting Financial Pointe’s website. It’s only fitting that a firm located in Southern California plays up those SoCal vibes through calming beach imagery.
They offer many services to clients, however, they do a great job of clearly spelling out what areas they assist in while managing to keep the website succinct and clean.
Additionally, we love that they offer their newsletters so that visitors can revisit previous and current editions to stay up-to-date.
That’s a Wrap!
Looking through these website examples will hopefully give you plenty of inspiration and ideas of how you can build or revamp your financial advisor website in the new year. Using engaging content and storytelling through video, imagery and content all come together to appeal to your niche whether that be baby boomers, millennials, physicians, elite athletes, or others.
Does your website appeal to your niche? And does it match your brand values? If not, or you would like a second opinion, then feel free to reach out. We would love to speak with you!
