We’re excited to speak with Sherri Brudon today for our most recent Meet the Team series. She has been an amazing asset to Twenty Over Ten and we don’t know what we would do without her! She is an integral part of our support team, helping clients on a daily basis while also making life at Twenty Over Ten more fun for everyone around her!
First things first, where are you from originally and where do you live now?
I am from Morrisville, Pennsylvania outside of Philadelphia and moved to Bellefonte, Pennsylvania in 2001 where I raised two girls as a single mom. They are now 28 and 18.
We know work-life balance in 2020 has been anything but ordinary, but how would you describe your typical day at Twenty Over Ten?
I have converted my library at home into my home office where I sit daily beside my favorite person, David, my husband to be. Every day is fun, interesting and challenging as support at Twenty Over Ten is always evolving.
We’re all ready for a vacation! So, if you could fly ANYWHERE in the world tomorrow, where would you go and why?
I would love to go to Alaska where I could whale watch and enjoy the calm tranquil scenery in a cabin in the woods.
Do you have any pets? What kind and what are their names?
We have a dog named Emma and two doves named Moca and Finagin. We also have 12 fish in our pond in the backyard.
When you’re not working, how do you like to spend your time? Do you have any hobbies or passions that you enjoy?
I enjoy reading, cooking and baking and up-cycling antiques I find at auctions. I also love going to Penn State football games and tailgating with friends.
What was your childhood dream job?
I wanted to be an artist and live in New York City.
What do you do to motivate yourself throughout the day, especially as we have all been quarantined?
I daydream of shopping in Manhattan and walking around Central Park without a mask.
What has been your favorite part about working at Twenty Over Ten?
I have really enjoyed getting to know a great group of people and helping people with all kinds of issues that seem simple to us, but are earth-shattering to them.
