For this month’s “Meet the Team” blog, we chatted with Customer Success Specialist, Joe Hansen. When he isn’t helping clients get the most out of their software and boosting our online presence, you can find this foodie enjoying the great outdoors and planning his next adventure with his family.
To learn more about Joe and what he does outside of work, be sure to check out our latest “Meet the Team” blog.
Where are you from, and what is your favorite part about where you live?
Salt Lake City is my true home but we currently reside in southern Minnesota. We enjoy rural life (rivers, camping, and being near to the in-law’s organic farm) while being not too far from the Twin Cities for concerts and events.
As a Customer Success Specialist, you work with advisors daily, offering guidance, stronger strategies and best practices for our platforms. Even though every day is different, can you tell us what a “typical day” looks like for you?
Winning clients over on onboarding and support calls – making sure they are set up to use Lead Pilot successfully via chat, zoom call, or email. Outside of that, I enjoy refreshing landing pages, helping import contacts, and working on campaigns with our marketing team.
Let’s talk success stories. Do you have any “a-ha” moments or successes that stand out to you when working with a particular advisor?
The biggest a-ha moment I’ve seen is when clients realize how powerful Lead Pilot can be when they use it consistently. As they share content and participate in LinkedIn, they see concrete results.
Outside of work, what do you like to do for fun?
During the summer, we tube down rivers, play pickleball, and go hiking. When it gets cold, we are glued to the fireplace or in the sauna. We are big-time foodies (my wife is a culinary expert and I’m an expert in consuming her creations and showing them off on social media).
As we are in the midst of the holiday season, do you have any traditions that you are most excited about?
Christmas Eve is our favorite day. We go sledding and cross country skiing. And later on, we get together with family and friends for dinner and games.
If you could hop on a plane and travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and why?
Scotland. To play golf at St. Andrews. But right now it’s too cold. So….I’d go to a place that has warm weather and a beach.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? And what was the first job that you ever had?
Being a chef was my first ambition. Picking up golf balls on a driving range in the cart that everyone aims at was my first job (best summer ever!)
We love our furry friends at Twenty Over Ten. Do you have any pets of your own? If so, what kind and what are their names?
No pets…unless you count my chickens.
We’ve been seeing peoples’ Spotify playlists for 2021 across social media. So, what types of music would we see on your page?
Overall, you would see a wide variety from the ’80s to current top hits. And I most often gravitate towards groups like the Perpetual Groove, Head and Heart and Mowgli’s.
What are you most excited about for 2022?
We have many things to celebrate this coming year so we are planning a trip to Jamaica or Costa Rica.
Struggling With What Content to Share on Social Media or via Email?
We are offering access to our content for advisors to use via Lead Pilot for 7-days completely free (even on our month-to-month plans).
