For our “Meet the Team” blog this month, we caught up with Customer Success Specialist, Elizabeth Nettles. She has been a huge asset to our team as she works with advisors on a daily basis to provide them with best practices and strategic guidance.

She’s an animal lover who loves going to live music shows when she isn’t working. Are you ready to find out more? Check out the entire blog below!

To kick things off, where are you from and where do you live now? What’s your favorite part about where you live?

I was born in Mississippi, but my family moved to Orlando, Florida when I was young. I adore Orlando because there are so many things to do. We have all different sorts of attractions and theme parks, the beach is super close, as well as the springs. I will say I miss being out in the middle of nowhere and riding four-wheelers sometimes, though!

As a Customer Success Specialist, you work with advisors daily, offering strategic guidance, improved strategies and best practices for how to best use the Twenty Over Ten platform. Can you describe to us what a “typical day” looks like for you?

A typical day for me would be taking onboarding calls and helping clients get their accounts set up. I would also handle any tickets that come into the Lead Pilot support chat. I enjoy getting to talk with clients and help them with their concerns.

When you aren’t working, what do you like to do for fun?

I really enjoy spending time with my daughter and trying to engage her in fun activities and attractions local to Orlando. We enjoy going to the beach, arcades, laser tag, and different things like that. Whenever I’m not on mom duty, I love going to music festivals and different events and just being able to dance around and enjoy myself with my friends.

Animals are also a favorite topic of ours. Do you have any pets of your own? If so, what kind and what are their names?

I have a lot of animals actually, feels like a mini-farm sometimes. I have 4 dogs, a bunny, and a guinea pig! My dogs’ names are Kristoff, Anna, Dinky, and Peaches, my guinea pig is Roger, and my bunny is Spike. If you can’t tell, my daughter named all of them.

What is the best trip that you’ve ever taken? And now that travel is returning to normal, do you have any trips you’re looking forward to in the near future?

I haven’t left Orlando much growing up. I’ve visited my hometown in Mississippi and traveled through Alabama to get there, but otherwise, I’ve only been to a couple of places, so this may sound odd but the best trip I ever went on was to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It’s so beautiful there, and the people are so kind!

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

As a child, I wanted to be an astronaut, or just to work with the space station somehow. I always and still do really enjoy learning about space. As I grew up, I really grew into loving anything technology related though.

What is the best advice that you have ever received?

This is going to sound very typical and basic, but treat people how you want to be treated. People will never forget the way you make them feel, whether it be negative or positive, so you may as well make a positive impact on them. Also, I try to live by what is for you will not go by you, this helps keep in mind that everything happens for a reason and if it’s meant to be it will be.

What is the best meal that you have ever eaten?

I have a really hard time picking out my favorite food. I guess one of my favorite foods would have to be anything made with potatoes, mashed potatoes, french fries, scalloped potatoes, baked potatoes, literally you name it if it’s potato-based I will likely love it!

What was the first concert that you ever attended? And what was your favorite one?

The first concert I ever attended was Cheap Trick. It was so cool to see them live because I grew up listening to them. This is a super hard question for me because music is my second favorite thing in the world. I’ve been to tons of concerts and events, sometimes I’ve even forgotten some of the people I’ve seen live BUT if festivals count, I’d say Forbidden Kingdom.

You have been such an important part of the Twenty Over Ten team. What gets you energized to get up and work every day?

I’d have to say the Twenty Over Ten team dynamic is what keeps me energized to work every day. My team is really amazing. I love getting to work with them, and they most definitely help keep things more exciting and entertaining, it makes it feel less like “working” and more like doing something I enjoy doing. They’re all great, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to be working with every day.
