For today’s “Financial Advisor Website Showcase” blog, we are exploring some of our favorite features of Vanneman Financial Group. Built on our Acuity framework, find out more about the unique features built into their website and what really makes it stand out.
Based out of Roseville, CA, Vanneman Financial Group was built on our Acuity framework, which offers a unique split-screen style making it incredibly impactful as it can help your website to stand out from the competition. Using a picture of President, Garrett Vanneman, CFP® and his family are much stronger than using stock photos, as visitors get to see who they will be working with, which adds the necessary personal touch to the website.
1. Personal Meet the Team Page
When you look at Vanneman’s team page, it’s incredibly unique as not only do Garrett and Nicole Vanneman have their own biography section, but their sons Dallas and Davis are included on the website as the firm’s Junior Marketing Assistants. Too cute! When you see that it’s truly a family affair at this firm, you get the feeling that you are in good hands and a sense that they care about providing sound financial planning to you and your family, as well.
2. Strong Imagery Used Throughout
They are based in Roseville, CA, so the natural images, such as the Redwood trees give the website a more local feel representing that area of California. The split-screen effect provides a dramatic effect, as visitors get a clear shot of the images directly next to the pertinent information for each section.
3. Robust Contact Page Makes Getting In Touch Simple
If your visitors are not able to easily get in touch with you, then this can drastically cut down on your leads. They keep their website simple yet it contains multiple ways for prospects to easily reach them. On their contact page, they have included:
- Multiple Email Addresses
- Phone Numbers
- A Registered Branch Address
- Office Location
- Contact Form
- Google Map
As you can see, there are multiple ways to get in touch with Nicole or Garrett, making it much easier to boost lead generation.
4. Simple Navigation Ensures Relevant Information Is Easily Found
We tell advisors that more is less when it comes to pages on their website and at Twenty Over Ten, we recommend keeping your navigation to no more than five pages as this helps with navigation and boosts the user-experience. While it’s good to have options, if they have too many, then their visitors may focus on something that is less important. If you have fewer menu items on your site, then your visitors will be much more likely to scan past the important options and will hone in on what actually matters. Vanneman Financial Group only has 5 main navigation pages (aside from the Client Portal) making for a very succinct page.
Final Thoughts
One of the things that we love about our job is that we get to help advisors create a website that is completely unique to them. No matter the niche or the audience that our clients serve, we are able to make it completely theirs so that they can boost their lead generation and overall online presence.
