Best Financial Advisor Websites: Summer 2021 Edition Featured Image

This summer we almost saw a return to normalcy, and while it’s moving a bit slower than we would have liked, there is still a light at the end of the tunnel. Throughout everything, we have felt so grateful that we have been able to continue to work with our amazing clients and help them to create their dream websites. As summer starts to wind down, we wanted to highlight some of our favorite sites from the summer. Like always, it was tough to narrow it down, but these 6 really stood out.

1. Beyond Tangible Wealth

Based out of Bennett, Nebraska, Beyond Tangible Wealth’s website was built on the Rod & Cone framework which is evident in the bold homepage imagery and text. The incredibly unique video hero image makes it seem as the advisor is typing on a computer to plan out the next step for the clients with the phrase, “Planning With Confidence.” And as you continue to scroll, the different clients that they serve are listed out, which includes:

  • Family-Owned Businesses
  • Current & Former College Athletes
  • Families with Kids in Competitive Sports

As you can see, they serve unique niches that require specialized financial planning. They have offered the ability to connect at the bottom of this section so that prospects can easily reach out to find out more about their services.

Beyond Tangible Wealth

Streamlined Pages

They have made use of the Accordion Feature with the drop-downs where they have even included calls-to-action within them, making for a seamless way to connect with leads and easily schedule conversations.

Strong Calls to Action

A call to action is so important for directing your visitors to take that next crucial step. If they don’t know where to go, then they will quickly leave your page. And in the Solutions section, which include “Financial Planning” and “Wealth Management,” they go into detail about what to expect with CTAs at the bottom of the page, including a “Free Portfolio Analysis,” where clients can easily see their risk analysis using our one-click integration, Riskalyze. They start each section with a quote that sets the tone for what you can expect with financial planning and wealth management when you work with Beyond Tangible Wealth.

2. PowerForward Group

We love the name of this firm, PowerForward Group. Based out of New York, New York, they specialize in financial services for:

  • Attorneys
  • E-commerce Business Owners
  • Wealth Builders
  • Legacy Planners

Unique Name and Background

And the unique name is based on Founder, Ruvin Levavi’s love of hockey and the camaraderie that comes with being a part of the team. As he describes below, The Power Forward on the team is the complete package, carries the team and perseveres with toughness and flexibility, and they strive to do that in the way that they serve their clients.

Power Forward Group

“Start Here” Section

By offering a “Start Here” landing page on your website, they are able to offer a specific set of information that encourages visitors to take the next step, and they have done that with the CTA on the homepage that leads to the specific niches plus easy ways to connect based on their unique needs. And for the visitors who don’t quite know what they want yet, they have a “Contact Us” button where you can easily reach out to someone on their team.

Robust Resources Section

Including resources on your website and informing your visitors and clients is a great way to not only better connect with your audience, but show that you are an expert and a thought-leader in the industry. Not only has PowerForward Group included insightful blogs, but they included videos and a downloadable guide, “An Attorney’s Guide to Student Loans.”

Resources section

The free guide is a great example of gated content, as the prospect is getting something that will help them in return for their contact information so that the team at PFG can drip on them and lead them down the sales funnel. By only asking for name and email, it makes visitors much more likely to type their information in rather than having to fill out multiple forms, so this is a great example of how to correctly use gated content on your website.

3. Great River Financial

Ahhh, serenity now. We are all about Great River Financial’s homepage with the clear lake image and canoe, it brings visitors tranquility just by visiting. Based out of Golden Valley, Minnesota, we love the straightforward hero font, telling clients what they can expect, “Specializing in helping you turn your investments into reliable efficient retirement income.”

Free Retirement Assessment

Just like PowerForward Group, Great River Financial has also included a “Start Here” button on their homepage leading to a specific landing page on their website. Once visitors click on that CTA, they are taken to the page where they can take their Free Retirement Assessment. On this page, they breakdown what to expect and how their team can help you plan for a stronger retirement. And let’s be honest. It’s hard to turn down “Free,” so this offer makes this page incredibly attractive for those looking to figure out their retirement.

Tab Switcher Usage

At Twenty Over Ten, we love creating elements that streamline advisor websites and just make everything look better, so we were thrilled to see how they implemented our “Tab Switcher” feature on their Retirement Assessment page.

And within each section, they have included ample information plus CTAs to lead visitors further down the sales funnel have broken down the retirement plan into five simple steps:

  1. Introductory Call
  2. Gather and Analyze
  3. Discovery Meeting
  4. Client Onboarding
  5. Ongoing Advice

Clear Services and Fees

When it comes to how much your services cost, transparency is key, so being upfront on your website is so important. When you clearly display the cost of your services, this helps leads to self-qualify, which saves time and effort. It also shows that you are trustworthy, as prospects know exactly what you will charge before they even work with your team.

Not only has Great River Financial provided the “Annual Advisory Fee Schedule,” but they have included a fee calculator to help determine the approximate value of your investments. There are no surprises as the cost and services are clearly broken down in this section.

FAQ Page

FAQ pages are beneficial to your website’s SEO, as they give you the opportunity to answer specific, keyword-related questions while also cutting down on any initial questions that you visitors may have, making for a more productive initial meeting. Additionally, they use our Accordion feature to streamline the page, as the answer to each question seamlessly drops down so that the page never looks cluttered.

4. Shorebridge Wealth Management

Based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Shorebridge Wealth Management provides a personalized approach to wealth management, so that their clients can better manage their financial situations.

Strategic Calls to Action

Directly on the hero image, visitors are met with a call-to-action to learn more about their process or schedule a call in the top right hand corner. Making the next steps easy to find and accessible is so important for prompting the visitors to find out more.

And once visitors have clicked on the CTA to schedule a call, they are quickly taken to the Calendly page, where they can schedule a meeting with team member, Mark Summers, AAMS®. Our one-click integration with Calendly makes it incredibly simple for prospects to book a meeting with the team, making the process much quicker.

Gated Content in the Form of a Newsletter

When done effectively, gated content can be a great way to acquire new leads and nurture prospects through the sales funnel. Shorebridge Wealth Management has done a great job of making it simple for visitors to subscribe to their monthly newsletter as visitors only have to provide their first name and email address. It’s a win-win for both parties, lead capturing for the advisory firm while the prospect will receive useful financial insight and stay up to date on the latest news and trends.

We love when websites stand out and have unique features and the interesting design that they have chosen to showcase who they serve really stands out as you can see below.

Who We Serve

As we mentioned above, transparency is key when it comes to what you charge, and this is so true when it comes to showing prospects that you are a trustworthy advisor who puts their clients first. As you can see below, they go into incredible detail, not only do they typical startup fees and ongoing monthly fees, but also how the fees work plus factors that can determine fees. At the bottom page, they have a CTA to schedule an appointment. Placing one here is incredibly strategic as prospects will be more likely to want to find out. more after reading through the fees.
