At Twenty Over Ten, we get to work with all different types of financial advisors, and that includes these amazing female-lead advisory firms. From their strong website design to the way that they market their business, these websites are sure to wow you!
8 Examples of Female-Lead Advisory Firms
The eight firms below have continued to impress us with their lead-generation tactics, the unique niches that they cater to and much more, so we just had to show them off.
1. Guelich Capital Management
Guelich Capital Management is led by a mother-son team, Founder and President, Connie C. Guelich, CFP® CLU® ChFC® AEP® RICP® and Vice President, R. Steven Guelich, CFP®, WMPC®. Connie and her team focus on designing customized strategies to organize all facets of their clients’ financial lives.
Their website has some a little bit of an “interactive feel” to it, with the inclusion of some drop-down menus in order to keep the website streamlined and free of clutter, but also telling visitors everything that they need to know about certain services at the click of a button.
Additionally, they offer podcasts in their “Listen In” section, and we’ve stressed the importance to clients of including different types of content to their audience, and a podcast is a great way to speak to a large audience and provide them with information that they can easily record and discuss financial topics in a more personal and conversational manner.
2. Braun-Bostich & Associates
As a Lead Pilot and Twenty Over Ten user, Braun-Bostich & Associates has an incredibly clean website with a unique design. Amy Braun-Bostich MSFP, CFP®, CFS®, APMA®, CLTC® is the founder and CEO of the firm. As a boutique firm, they provide tailored financial solutions while offering the resources and capabilities of a larger firm, even though they serve their clients on a personalized basis.
They have many unique features, but once that really stands out is “BBA Cares,” that shows their strong commitment to community service. From The Great Washington County Food Bank to Young Life, they have been supporting many of these causes for up to twenty years. It’s important to give back to the community and show that they go beyond just work, but there are many other aspects that are so important to running a successful firm.
There are many clear calls-to-action on the website, one of them being “Schedule A Free 20 Min Phone Conversation” where visitors are taken to a meeting scheduler through the use of Calendly, giving them the option to meet with one of the advisors on a certain date and time.
We have discussed the importance of being up-front and disclosing fees on your website, so it’s great that Braun-Bostich & Associates has done just that. When you include your fees and fee-structure clearly on your website, then it can often save a phone call or initial meeting to see if a client can afford the services. Additionally, it shows that you are direct and clearly telling your prospects how much it costs to work with you, and this type of transparency is important for being trust with prospects and clients.
3. Retire Secure Financial Planning
Managing Principal, Nancy Tani, CFP®, JD, MBA, Retire Secure Financial Planning is a financial planning and investment management firm serving the greater Chicago area. While they offer a wide range of financial planning, they focus on retirement planning, and it’s always a good idea to hone in on a niche to really get the most of your marketing and services.
There are many aspects that show off the strong design of this website, and one of those is the use of calls-to-action scattered through the website. When placed strategically, they really boost lead generation and help your visitors take the next step down the sales funnel.
Content creation is key to driving traffic, but doing so consistently is even more important when it comes to providing your visitors with useful information regularly. They come to expect that your content will be updated, and it will not only boost your lead generation but keep visitors on your website for longer for a more optimal SEO.
Additionally, in their resources section, they have included an FAQ page to answer the most common questions that their prospects may have, cutting out an unnecessary phone call or initial meeting, which in turn, saves time and ultimately money for everyone. They ask some questions such as, “What is your investment philosophy?” and “How do you help clients implement their financial plans?” which are great questions to answer up-front so that prospects can really learn their the firm’s values and have the important questions answered before the initial meeting.
4. The Basballe Group
The Basballe Group is led by financial advisor, Laura Basballe and based out of Burnsville, MN. They offer financial planning with an educational approach and offer:
- Financial Planning
- Retirement Planning
- Insurance
- Investments
While they serve women and self-employed business owners, they also serve the unique niche of Delta Airlines employees and retirees. They have a close location to Delta’s hub in Minnesota and have served the financial needs of Delta employees and their families for over twenty years. Catering to such a unique niche makes it much easier to stand out in the already saturated industry of financial advisors. However, they do serve other clients, as well, giving them that broader reach, as well.
Not only are they open and transparent about their fees, right off the day, but they give a brief overview of what you can expect for the price and the length of time that you will spend on each section with your financial advisor. Additionally, they have a CTA that standouts easily against the background to “Schedule an Appointment Today.” There is one at the bottom of the page too in the “Investment Management” section where you can click another CTA to find out more about those particular fees. Additionally, there is a “Schedule Now” in the top right-hand corner, as well. Even though there are multiple calls to action on the page, they are easy to read and strategically placed so that visitors have multiple opportunities to schedule a meeting with the team.
Lastly, we stress the importance of “freemium” and they offer the option to download their latest issue of “Eye on Money,” and this issue offers “8 Key Estate Planning Tools.” People love FREE, so offering advice for free is a great way to generate leads on an advisor website.
5. Glass Financial Advisors
Based out of Independence, OH, Glass Financial Advisors is led by founder, Michelle Glass, CRPC. Videos on a homepage look great and give the visitors a feeling of serenity upon landing on the homepage. It’s as if you are being taken on a journey with the firm as you walk through the woods in the image below. The CTA “Meet Your Advocates” stands out very well against the black and white background enticing visitors to take the next step.
In the “What We Do” section, they use interesting imagery with the cartoon sketch showing the types of questions that they answer for clients, such as:
- When can I retire?
- How will I pay for healthcare?
- How much money do I need to retire?
- Will I outlive my money?
- Will I have enough?
- how much should I be saving?
These questions are displayed in a “fun” manner and really capture the attention of the audience to further explore how they can find out more about the firm.
The CTA stands out against the background in the dark green with the phrase “Let’s Get To Work” that can take visitors to the contact section. The wording on a CTA should be enticing and make your readers want to take action, and this button does just that.
6. TCP Asset Management
TCP Asset Management has four partners, one of them being Director of Wealth Management, Branda Allen. There are many aspects that stand out about this website and one is the video on the homepage slowly moving over the mountain range directly when landing on the website.
A strong team page is important so that prospects can get to know more about the team that they are going to be working with, and TCP has headshots of the full management team in professional, color photos with a bio about the team members when you click on them. Calling the team “your financial advocates” brings about a feeling of your team being on your side and ready to work with you.
7. LFM Wealth Management
LFM Wealth Management is led by Tracey J. Childers, EA, CFP® and offers comprehensive financial planning services to their prospects. Based out of State College, PA, we love the beautiful hero image on the homepage with a CTA encouraging visitors to get to know the team. They serve a range of clients, such as pre-retirees, retirees, widows and divorces and professionals.
Beneath the services, they ask if you are interested in learning more with a strategically placed CTA that stands out against the background encouraging visitors to contact them. They offer tailored services to fit the needs of each individual client, showing that they will offer the same service to each client no matter their situation.
8. Ascension College Planning
Angela M. Caballero, CFP®, MS is the founder of Ascension College Planning out of Tucson, AZ. We discuss the importance of targeting a niche and Ascension College Planning does just that as she focuses on individuals and families who are planning and preparing for college.
There are many unique aspects to this website and we have stressed the importance of including freemiums on your website, and Ascension College Planning offers a College Money Report™ that will enter the three questions below.
- How much colleges think you can afford.
- If you will qualify for grants and/or scholarships.
- How much you will be expected to pay out of pocket.
When working with a niche that is planning for college, it’s so important to provide them with as many resources as possible, and Ascension College Planning offers many different free and useful resources to their website viewers with newsletters, blogs and eBooks.
That’s a Wrap!
We couldn’t get enough of these advisor websites that are led by strong female advisors! In a male-dominated industry, they have created not only strong websites that display their business but have utilized marketing and lead generation strategies that have worked for them.
