For this month’s “Meet the Team” blog, we had the opportunity to catch up with Richard Ahlert who works on our sales team. Richard is one of the members of our top-notch sales team who has been such an integral part of our growth, working to help financial advisors find the best solutions to build their digital presence.

To start, where are you from and where do you live now? What’s your favorite part about where you live?
I grew up at the Jersey Shore and live in Central Pennsylvania, where the great outdoors is always footsteps away.
Can you describe a typical day at work for you? Do you have any routines that keep you focused and motivated, especially when working remotely?
Every day I get to hear firsthand the challenges and opportunities facing our clients. It is a blessing to speak with customers from around the globe as we partner to achieve goals.
You have been an integral part of our sales team, especially with how much business has grown! Can you tell us how you got your start in sales?
In my first sales role, I was fresh out of college as an outside-sales medical device representative for Johnson & Johson and others. I eventually found myself in the Saas space in 2015 and here we are today!
As it gets colder outside and we spend more time indoors, we’re all going to inevitably be watching more Tv. Do you have any shows you are currently bingeing?
I have really enjoyed watching:
- Maid
- Mad Men
- Babylon Berlin
- In the Dark
- And many other hidden gems
Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what are their names?
I have a grey kitty named Kitty and a Jack Russell/Rat Terrier named Huckleberry. They are the best!

What is the best piece of advice that you have ever received?
Love one another.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
In my dreams, I have the ability to fly, so if I could fly with friends and family through the air, that would be amazing. Breathing underwater would be second. 😊
The holidays are right around the corner! Does your family have any fun holiday traditions?
Every year my wife and I wrap presents in the middle of the night as quietly as we can hoping no kiddo comes down. We look forward to it every year.
What do you love most about your job?
It goes without saying that the team at Twenty Over Ten is unmatched in its skill, passion, and greatness. Learning and growing alongside the people here at Twenty Over Ten has been truly a blessing.
