For this month’s “Meet the Team” blog, we caught up with Digital Copywriting Intern, Claudia Radzwich. From creating website copy to writing strong bios for our clients, she has been a huge part of our website development process.
To find out more about Claudia’s hobbies and what her post-graduation plans are, check out the rest of the blog.
Where do you go to school and what are you studying?
I’m a student at Penn State where I’m majoring in marketing and minoring in economics. From attending football games to being a THON volunteer, everything about Penn State is exciting and I’m proud to be a Nittany Lion!
You are an integral part of our copywriting team and play a huge role in the website development process for our clients. Can you tell us more about your role and what a “typical day” looks like for you?
A typical day for me usually involves working on copy for boosts and writing bios. I also recently started to work on revisions as well!
What is your favorite part of your internship? Any success stories or projects you’ve worked on that stand out for you?
Working on a team is my favorite part of this internship. Hannah and Olivia have been so helpful and kind every step of the way, I can always count on them and it makes it easy to look forward to our team meetings. Additionally, I love the way that copywriting challenges my creativity while helping me to learn more about marketing every day.
Juggling your classes, projects, extracurriculars and an internship is no easy feat. Any tips for other interns who are struggling to balance it all?
My planner is what consistently keeps me on track! I like being able to write down my schedule and check off my to-do list as I go. I schedule everything from my morning workouts, classes, and work time to my extracurricular activities and movie nights with friends.
What does post-graduation look like for you – what’s your dream job?
After graduation, I would like to spend some time abroad working remotely or teaching English. I was planning on studying abroad in Italy in 2020 but never made it there because of the pandemic, so I’m still itching to experience living in another country. I also hope to eventually move to a city (probably New York) and work in marketing or finance, maybe both!
We’ve all been itching to travel again, as things start to return to normal, do you have any trips planned?
I was lucky enough to go on a few trips this summer! In June I visited California with my family and got to go to LA, Joshua Tree, Sequoia National Park and Yosemite. The national parks out there are truly breathtaking and I got to go on a ton of beautiful hikes. Last month I spent a weekend in Nashville with my friends celebrating my best friend’s 21st birthday, which was so much fun especially with things returning to normal. Lastly, I just got back from a relaxing week in Seabrook Island, SC where my family spends our annual beach vacation. As for upcoming trips, my family is planning to travel to Arizona in December for winter break.
If you were stranded on an island, what three items would you want to have with you?
A cozy bed, Aquaphor and a cat to keep me company.
If you were to compete in the Olympics, what sport would you most want to participate in?
I don’t have very good hand-eye coordination but beach volleyball sounds the most fun!
If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
Teleportation so that I could travel anywhere I want at any time (without paying for plane tickets too.)
