For most people, the season of summer is used to soak up the sun and relax. But David Niggel of Key Wealth Partners has something else in mind. This summer, David is expanding his digital marketing and started off by launching a new website. Next, he’ll be working on an exciting new email marketing campaign! Every week we showcase a newly launched Advisor Website. This week, I had the pleasure of speaking with David Niggel from Key Wealth Partners to learn a little bit more about him, his financial planning firm, his new website, and the preparation and details that go into creating his email marketing campaign. Check out his site and read on for more.

1.) Have you always worked in the field of financial planning? What do you enjoy most about your profession?

1. Six years ago, I became a financial advisor. However, I have always been interested in business as I have been an entrepreneur since I was twenty-two years old. As one of the youngest owners of an Auntie Anne’s Soft Pretzel franchise, I saw first hand how to take great care of your valuable employees. And in turn, they will take of you and your business.

After selling my stores, I wanted to continue helping more business owners take care of their employees by providing best in class 401k plans. For some people, 401k plans can be their only source of investing for their future, and I take this responsibility with great care.

2. How do you currently prospect for new clients?

My main prospecting has been referrals and word of mouth.  Recently, I have heard of advisors reaching new clients through the use of social media, and I believe my new website will help me reach a new audience. I am also planning to start an email campaign over the summer to reach more individuals and families.

3. Who do you plan on targeting for this new email marketing campaign?

I plan on using a very targeted list to reach the affluent to high net worth individuals in my area.  This will range from approximately $250,000 to $1,000,000 in financial assets.

4. What content do you (or will you) include in your email marketing campaigns?

I send emails with current and timely information to clients and prospective clients.  I want to keep them well informed as the markets are always changing and can be quite tumultuous.  Emails are at least monthly and increase as the markets fluctuate.

“Right now I am trying to narrow down a message that will resonate with these types of investors and will bring them to action and visit my website and contact me for an appointment.”

5. What advice would you give to someone who is looking to redo their website?

My advice for an advisor looking to create a new website is to do your research in order to find a true partner that can provide something unique.  A partner that will listen to your needs and goals and that will provide a site that is not “cookie cutter.”

I feel that Twenty Over Ten was a good fit for me because they work with their clients with the same care that I work with mine.  All my needs and goals were met and even exceeded.

They provided a unique website that had the look and feel that I was looking for.  I am very excited and happy to have found Twenty Over Ten in my research of providers.  They have gone above and beyond my expectations.

Thank you so much David. We look forward to checking back in with you and learning how your email marketing campaign is going later this year.
