What is Implement Now?
The Independent Advisor’s Implement Now Practice Management Virtual Summit is a Virtual Conference hosted by Kristin Harad, CFP®, marketing coach for independent advisors. 1. How’d you get involved in this summit?
I met Kristin Harad, who organizes the summit each year, at a NAPFA conference a couple years ago. We realized immediately that our objectives were in sync and we were both preaching similar messages to financial advisors about marketing themselves online. Kristin came to a presentation I gave and after we had a great discussion about giving advisors access to good design and the ability to easily communicate their brand via digital marketing.

2. Why is this such an important helpful virtual summit?
It can be incredibly costly to attend a couple of good conferences each year that have great speakers lined up. 3. If you were able to choose your topic, what made you choose this topic?
As a Professor of Design at Penn State and the Co-Founder and Lead Designer of a web development company, it made sense that my topic was “Your Website: Design For Action”.

4. Who are you excited to listen to speak?
It’s always a pleasure to listen to Michael Kitces, one of the most prolific contributors’ to the industry. He will be talking about how he maintains a healthy lifestyle and stays so productive while keeping a very hectic travel schedule. I’m always interested to hear how other entrepreneurs manage their limited time and resources. I’m also looking forward to Bill Winterberg’s talk about video production.
